1. Based on your reflections, and on a scale of 1 to 10 (ten being optimal wellbeing), where do you rate your A-physical wellbeing, B-spiritual well-being, C-psychological well-being? I rate my physical wellbing at a 10 as I train on a daily basis and eat a clean diet. My spiritual wellbeing is at about a 7, I feel that way as I have an active prayer life and I am close to my Heavenly Father. My psychological wellbeing is about a 6-7 due to the stress that I work under on a daily basis I feel that I maintain a high mental level of positive thinking.
2. Develop a goal for yourself in each area (physical, spiritual, psychological). My goals are to complete and compete in the June 5th bodybuilding show in Denver; I also have a goal set to physically get back into church, and to maintain the attitude that things don’t happen to me they happen for me.
3. What activities or exercise can you implement in your life to assist in moving toward each goal? The activities that I participate in, I am at the gym daily and continue my dieting, I will make it a point to physically get up and go to church on Sundays instead of having my time full of other things, and I will continue to maintain that outlook that things happen for me and not to me.
4. Complete the relaxation exercise The Crime of the Century. Describe your experience. (What it beneficial? Frustrating? etc.) This exercise was nice and calming and if worked well for me in the visualization aspect, I didn’t really find it to be productive when the exercise was done so was my relaxing.

Hello, I feel the same about everything you have written! When you read my post to unit 3 I think you'll laugh, it's almost identical :)....My focus area is the stress issue as well and of course going to church at least once a month. Well good luck on all your goals!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Jaimie, I love those trees, the ones that great you on your blog. Competion in Denver sounds terrific and I wish you all the best in your endeavor. I am sure that this is a goal you will meet as you sound very dedicated to taking care of your body. Getting back into church is a very good goal, Set the time aside on Sunday or Wednesday which ever day your church has worship and do it. Once you attend once you will find it easier to do it again and in no-time you will be back in attending regularly. The gym keeps you physically well, church keeps you spiritually well, together psychological wellness, and homeostasis. good luck again in Denver. Sharon

I have to say that you seem to be on the right path. I am so impressed how focused you are in your physical fitness. I also try to go to church Sundays but lately have had a busy schedule due to family, work and making wedding plans. I have to remember though without God that all those other things wouldn't be possible so making time to attend Sunday church should be priority number one. Best of luck in June and I hope you are able to reach your goals.
